Hey Scholars!!!
Only two more weeks til Spring Break. I hope you are excited about this as much as I am. This week we are discussing gases and the laws that come with them. You must find or come up with a joke about gases or Chemistry and post it. Rememeber it must be school appropriate.

Week 9: Stoichiometry, What is this? Math in Chemistry?
Hey Scholars,
Here is your help on the difficult test I give. I realize it is easy to get frustrated in this class but keep your head up and keep working hard. For this weeks blog we are talking about Stoichiometry. I want to know a little history about this subject as well as this word we call the Mole (Mol). For this week add a historical fact about stoichiometry or give me the date of National Mol Day and things people do to celebrate this date.
Have a great week

Week 8: Products.... Nope not the kind you buy at the store.
Hey Scholars!!!
I realize that this weeks post is eerily similar to last weeks but i figure you could use the easy EC points seeing as we have a test coming up on Thursday and no one posted on last weeks blog anyway. So here it is: Chose a daily or applicable to daily life reaction (just the reactants) and predict the products and tell what type of reaction it would be: (composition, decomposition, single replacement, double replacement, or combustion)
Happy St. Patrick's Day

Week 7: Find The Balance
Hey Scholars!!
Well the 1st six weeks is over and its time to jump right into the 2nd six weeks. I hope chemistry has been enjoyable and exciting so far. This week we are balancing and writing chemical equations. For your mission this week write out and balance a common chemical reaction that happens during our daily activities (ex: pop (for the southerners SODA) fizzing.)
Have a great week and start this six weeks strong.
