For this weeks post I would like to write the formula for a "stable" molecule (ANY STABLE MOLECULE) and explain why it is stable according to the Lewis Dot Structure and VSPER theory. If your not strong in this part of Chem. feel free to do research online to help guide you to the answer.

Cl2 is a stable molecule because two clorines are sharing valence electrons forming a covalent between the two. This is shown is the Lewis dot structure, clorine has 7 valence electrons and at least one electron from each element is sharing from the other.
Well I am not that good at this but I found one that was not stable and I would not mind sharing this because I have a very good explanation with the help of an internet source helping me.
N2H6 is unstable. The lewis structures show valence electrons, n has a valence of 3, h has valence of 1. So in other words it can not be stable. 1n can accept 3 h so if you have 2n it will accept 6 hydrogen but there wil be no bond between the 2 n's.
H2 is a stable molecule because when you have two hydrogen atoms, each with a single electron, they can share their electrons to form a covalent bond and create the diatomic hydrogen molecule.
CO2 is a stable bond because a double bond is formed between the atoms. This happens because Carbon has four valnce electrons and Oxygen has six. When the atoms bond the two lone pairs from each both oxygen atoms bonds with one of the four caarbon valence electrons. So basically two lone valance electrons from one oxygen go to two carbon valnce electrons and two valnce electrons from the other oxygen atom go to the other two carbon valence electrons.
NF3 is stable because nitrogen has 3 bonds together and one lone pair. It has 8 electrons around it so it form a full octet.

it shows that water is a combination of 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
NaOH is a ionic compound formed between Na+ and OH-
When these bond, a stable electron configuration is achieved for both.
NH3 is a stable molecule because all of the H3 valence electrons are safely bonded with the valence electrons of N
N2 is a stable molecule because there are 2 nitrgen moleculse sharing the valence electrons to from a covalent bond between the two. Using the lewis dot struction there would be a line in the middle of two N's
