Week of Jan. 12th-16th Discussion: The Last Week of Chemistry

Dear Scholars,

This is the final post for the semester. It has been a pleasure getting to know you all so well. For this last weeks blog tell me either your favorite part of the semester or your NOT-SO- Favorite part of the semester. Again I will miss you all so much. Keep taking the Sciences and maybe I'll see you again soon.

Your Beloved

my favorite part of this semester would just being on top of my game. It made me feel good i kept up the grade i did, finally put some confidence in me now that im a senior and im just so glad that i did well. Yah you're new Mr. Dillman but you are a good senior, you know how to get everyone involved and interested and there was never a time when we were just sitting there bored out of our mind. yah we might be sitting there one day taking notes but right after you have a us do an activity. It was fun and i enjoyed it i hope you don't give up too soon on teaching!

But a couple of days ago before we took the cummalative test we did a review type thing instead of spending like 20 minutes before the test going over it all, i think you should do that for all tests, it would alleviate all the questions before the test because you gave them everything that was on the test the day before. just an idea, you may like it you may not.

I enjoyed being in your class and you'll see me at ultimate! Have a good rest of the class

Britt

My favorite part of the semester was when I FINALLY made a B. I was so proud of myself and it really brightened me up, maybe now I'm a step closer to becoming an obstetrician. One of my favorite things about the class was all of the activities we got to do (making silly putty), the labs we got to do were cool. I loved the fact that you played music as soon as we got to class, I thought it was cool I liked some of the songs. I liked that you went over things in class and if we didn't understand something we could stay after and you'd work on it with us. I liked/like that you're a good teacher.

oh wow i don't think i have only ONE favorite part of the semester. i LOVED this class. it's the hardest one i've had this semester but i kept my grade up and you definitely made the class alot more fun. i was really scared to take the class at first but you were always available for help & tutoring whenever we needed it. that's one thing everyone loves in a teacher. i've never done so many labs or had so much fun in the class. you always made us laugh with really weird & crazy stories, and always had us hyped up. just getting the class started with a song of the day is something many of us never had but really enjoyed. it's bittersweet the class is coming to an end. BUT DON'T WORRY. i'll still be in your class needing a piece of gum everyday :]

good job this first semester of teaching. hopefully you'll stay at white oak!

hmmmm mr.dillman, well this class has been very very interesting. I learned alot even though youre a new teacher. All i have to say is buckle down on your students....keep working hard at what you are doing because youre doing great as a first time teacher. Just do lots of review before tests...but other than that i enjoyed chemistry. So with your next class go in it with alot of confidence and give them all you got!!! thanks for a great semester.

p.s congrats on you and ya wifey!!!
