Week 6 Find the Balance

Hey Scholars!!

Well the 1st six weeks is almost over and its time to jump right into the 2nd six weeks. I hope chemistry has been enjoyable and exciting so far.

This week we are balancing and writing chemical equations. For your mission this week write out and balance a common chemical reaction that happens during our daily activities (ex: pop (for the southerners SODA) fizzing.) Have a great work and finish this six weeks strong.

Mr. D

I know wood burning isn't exactly an everyday thing, but it's the only balanced equation i could find.

C6 H12 O6 + 6 O2 -----> 6 CO2 + 6 H2O
