Scholars,
Due to lack of findings on the previous blog for this week, I've decided to put an alternative challenge out there for you. You need to go out there online and find a thermochemistry problem like the ones we've been solving in class (calorimetry, heat of rxn, specific heat, etc) post it and solve it. Happy Last Week Before Break!!!

H2O2(aq)-->H2O + 1/2 O2 (g)
= (H2O (l) @ -285.83 kJ & O2 @ zero) - (H2O2 @ -187.8kJ)
= -285.83 - ( - 187.8)
= -285.83 + 187.8
= -98.0 kJ
Specific heat:
Q=100J
m=82g
Cp=?
∆T=55°C
Q=m*Cp*∆T
100=82*Cp*55
100=4510*Cp
100/4510=Cp
