HEY SCHOLARS!!!
YAY!!!!!!!!!! Only one more week until Winter Break. For this week, we are discussing redox reactions. These happen in everyday life especially within the industrial field. For this week's challenge, find me a redox reaction and explain what is happening.
Happy Holidays!

2Fe3+ + Sn2+ -> 2Fe2+ + Sn4+
The Iron and the Tin react to give iron two and tin four. The reaction is carried out in the presence of hydrochloric acid but the oxidation reaction is between iron and tin.
What happened was Sn2+ donated electrons to the Fe3+ (an electron transfer took place).
